Driver P/T Perm 13 hours a week |
Campitor St Catherine's Co-operative are recruiting a Driver Attendant to transport service users to and from various locations throught the Wakefield District.
Essential Experience:
Applicants must be able to physically assist passengers in wheelchairs on and off the transport vehicle. You must be well presented and be able to communicate effectively at all levels ensuring high standards of customer care are maintained at all times.
You must also have a full current driving licence including D1 category.
Desirable Experience:
Experience of driving passenger vehicles.
Full training will be provided.

DAY CARE ASSISTANT (2 vacancies) |
Previous experience is required, although employer is willing to train applicants to NVQ level 2. Committed and enthusiastic person to provide support for elderly individuals in a day care environment. Applicants will be carrying out personal care to the elderly including assisting with daily activities and escorting them to and from the centre. Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure(CRB). Disclosure expense will be met by employer.
Duration: Permanent only
Location: Doncaster Road,Belle Vue, WAKEFIELD, WEST YORKSHIRE
Hours: 25 PER WEEK, MON, WED, THUR AND FRI, BETWEEN 8AM-4PM

Youth Worker |

Hours:37.5 p/w
The post holder will ensure that the provision is effective in engaging with young beneficiaries by delivering programmes and services that will tackle key issues relating to young people for example anti-social behavior, literacy and numeracy, preparation for employment, vocational training, drug and alcohol misuse, food nutrition, healthier lifestyle activities, Neet groups (not in education, employment or training) and BME groups. The successful candidate will be able to remove barriers for young people to engage in mainstream services and provisions. They will inspire young people to achieve their potential and succeed in education, training and employment by undertaking and participating in the delivery of key group workshops. The post holder will also promote brand core services and work in partnership with other agencies.
The successful candidate will have good communication skills and an empathetic approach towards young people and the barriers which they face. In order to be eligible to apply for the role of Youth Worker, you must be qualified to NVQ/VRQ Level 3 Certificate in Youth Work vocational or JNC endorsed recognised professional qualification. An enhanced criminal records bureau disclosure check will be carried out on the preferred candidate.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Providing support, programmes and activities for young beneficiaries in order for them to develop.
b) Working within the policies and procedures of Campitor St Catherine’s Co-operative, paying particular attention to equal opportunities, health and safety, financial expenditure, procurement and bid writing.
c) Monitoring beneficiary’s progress and outcomes and supplying information to relevant agencies and groups as well as inputting and maintaining the information accurately on in-house and management information systems.
d) Attend networking seminars, events and workshops promoting core brands and training sessions.
e) Create partnerships with voluntary bodies, schools and local community organisations sharing best practices and forming alliances that will allow programmes to be delivered in a number of locations across the district.
