Stories of success

Mark Hawley
In common with many of the enterprises within the Campitor-St Catherine Co-operative, Jobspoint is led by a director who has grown up through our projects. Mark Hawley began his involvement with Jobspoint in 2000 as a volunteer having been prevented from continuing his job as a builder's labourer due to his own incapacity.

Not content with remaining unemployed or continuing on training scheme after training scheme, Mark committed himself to becoming qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Information Advice and Guidance. Following his successful completion of the qualification, Mark received ongoing mentoring and support and has now become a Company Director. Mark is now particularly interested in continuing to develop the work of Jobspoint with the most vulnerable in the jobs market.
