St Catherine's Church is a lively Church set in an inner city neighbourhood in Wakefield, England. If you are looking for a Church with an informal and contemporary feel where you can explore your own questions about faith and life, St Catherine's may be the place for you.
Service Times
Sunday worship at St Catherine's is at 9am and 10.15am. - Both services are contemporary in style, although the early service is without hymns and songs.
Mid-week we have a Communion Service at 9.15am on a Wednesday and at other times as arranged.

New Chapel for St Catherine's Proposed

St Catherine's has given the go-ahead for plans to be developed for a new chapel to be built at the St Catherine's Church Centre. Whilst intended primarily as a space for Christian prayer and worship, it is intended that the chapel will be a haven for all who seek personal space to meet with God and to explore their own heart |

Electoral Roll Renewal

Along with every church in the Church of England, we have to completely renew our Electoral Roll this year. Part of this process involves those who are eligible completing an Electoral Roll form by March 10th. You can get a form from the Church Office or by sending an e-mail to stcaths@the-co-op.com |

The Co-operative and St Catherine's

Sometimes people are unsure about the connection between St Catherine's Church and the co-operative. They are two separate organisations. They have to be for co-operatives are not allowed to be relisious organisations. However, the co-operative has its origins in St Catherine's Church and strong connections remain.
